If you have had no (or very little) pottery experience, we will require you to a series of intro to clay classes- that take you through the foundations of working with clay and using our studio. These two hour classes are offered by appointment. The tools, clay, and firing are included in these classes and they will set you on your way to using our studio safely and effectively. The cost of each intro class is $25
If you are an experienced potter, and would like to become a member contact Chasse to schedule a meeting. We’ll work to get you familiar with our facility and get you working in no time.

Summer Children’s Workshop
Whistles & Whimsy with Eileen Hearne
Learn how to hand build small sculptures from pinch pots and create functional whistles. It’s fun to see animals come out of this fun easy process. Ages 8-15

Beginners Wheel Throwing Part 2 with Martha Wallace: Building on the Basics.
Learn to create different shapes from the the basic cylinder and bowl forms, trimming techniques and glazing techniques to achieve the look you want on the pieces you make. $175 includes 25 pounds of clay, and all firing and glazing costs for the pieces made during class. Includes four open studio visits and individual attention to help you develop your skills. This class is designed for those who have taken an intro class in the past and are familiar with wedging and centering.
