What kind of memberships do you have?
We use a rather novel approach to membership by using a studio account system instead of monthly fees. That way you only pay for the time you actually use the studio, allowing you to work at your pace and around your schedule. Check out the Studio Accounts page for way more information then you will ever need.
Can I bring my children?
Pottery lovers of high school age (16+) may join. Younger children are welcome to use the studio when we host children’s workshops or are hosting parties in our paint your own pottery area.
Do you Raku fire?
Yes! We have a great Raku kiln that we fire as weather, demand, and time permits.
Do you have beginner classes?
Yes, check out our Introductory to Pottery class if you are new to clay, this is a great way to get a start! Check out the class page for more information.
Can I bring in my own clay and glazes?
Sorry, but no. Clays and glazes melt at different temperatures. A kiln can be destroyed if we use the wrong materials for the temperature range we fire at.
What cone do you fire to?
We fire our bisque to cone 04 and our glaze to cone 6 oxidation.
Can I bring in food?
Food and clay and glaze chemicals are not a safe combination.
Do you have any ‘paint your own’ ware?
Yes! We have a handful of choices from mugs, and plates to tiles that you can use as a canvas to create- in one setting a piece that you will be able to use again and again. The cost of each piece is $20. This covers however much time you need to paint your piece (it is later dipped in a clear glaze), and firing of your piece. Additional fees apply to those needing their work shipped. We do birthday parties! Prices are based on party size. This is a brand new feature of our studio so book your party while the calendar has openings.
